Using those instructions the switchmate app appears to be linked to the google home app, but my google mini still claims there is no link when I ask to talk to switchmate. Most clogged toilets can be cleared with soap, hot water and time. If this skill actually worked, it could be great. The instructions say to open the Switchmate app, go to settings, and tap on Link with Alexa to generate a pairing code. And if you click on that and get a code, then enter it in the skill, it says the code is invalid. If circuit breakers and electrical wiring aren't your cup of tea, the easy-breezy Switchmate would serve you well -- just keep in mind that it can't actually do a whole lot. That may mean blowing your cover if you've been trying to unclog the toilet incognito. In that case, the best you can hope for is to not become the butt of any future jokes.
